So im new to this site and wanted to get some ideas an different perspectives on my truck! so far the only thing is a jvc head unit and CAI but i was thinking of starting with some small cheap stuff as in a saleen grille, head/tail lights, tint, badges off a newer stx, bed cover, etc and eventually headers(if i can find any for the 4.2), lowering kit(not sure on how much of a drop yet), and either flowmaster 40's or borla. input? oh and its snowing here so no sense in cleaning her up for pics just yet maybe in a few days

 

So I have some 20x8.5 American racing torq thrust wheels on order should be here by Friday on the truck I will try to put a pic of the wheels up

What color is your truck? Is it a Scab, Screw, or regular cab? You can check out my albums to see what my truck started off with and what it is now, I have all the mods you listed except for the headers. Should of read a little bit before you put that cai on and saved yourself some cash, the Gotts mod is just as effective for $20. Anyways, welcome to the site and enjoy your truck!

 

its gray. and yeah i should have i actually got the CAI right before i joined the forum oh well its over now cant turn back time. and for sure ill check your truck out. oh yeah and im about to get the seats redone in vinyl blue and gray i think havent decided yet

 

Just post some pics, doesn't matter if it's clean or not. Weather is crappy everywhere it seems, so I think most will understand.

Hope to see some bigger pics soon. But I like the look. It looks like you still have the XL mirrors. I'd suggest upgrading those at some point; but over all looks good!

 

you have the xlt mirrors animated? whats the diifferent about them?

 

Stickers......lots of stickers......a whale tail........plastic chrome door handle covers (chinese spec for sure) and Borla, yeah $200 each for the "good" mufflers (that are soooo much better than glass-packs....un-oh, they look the same on the inside, was i lied too?)

Yes I have the mirror upgrade. I found them here in our classified section. But here is what I'm talking about.

These are the XL Mirrors (what you have):


These are the XLT Mirrors (You can get them, power, heated, with turn signals whatever):


Those are just a little thing that will make your truck look like a higher end model. Other things may be bumpers with fog-lights, PTM handles, etc.

 

ive been looking on here for some head/tail lights bumper with fogs and mirrors but no luck maybe im not looking in the right places hmmm... but anywho animated where did you get your headlights from? and i lost your number i had to get a new phone

havent been on here in a few days but i nite shaded the third brake light thinking about doing the tails next but idk yet
