Ebay Harley lights

Im thinking about doing the harley lights on my 05. I see ebay has some for $80 a pair. Are these any good? Or should I try to paint the inside myself? Thanks

For what they cost to buy online, you might be better off with a set of tinted harleys and save the hassle. Good luck with whatever you decide to do.

Got mine on Ebay for cheap. I siliconed the both real well before installing. One side would fog up on occasion, mostly after going through the carwash, so I took it off and re-siliconed it. Never fogged up again. For under $100, you can do this 3 times before running up the cost of real Harley lights.

I bought mine off ebay while looking for harley heads...my drivers side did not fog up but my passenger side did. i siliconed them both really well tho. I recently had body work done on my passenger side front fender(stupid horses!!!) and they had to pull that headlight out and i think they scraped off some of the silicone becasue it is fogging up again in the mornings. In the colorado sunlight it evaporates pretty quickly but i dont want it doing it at all so i gotta re-silicone it just silicone any holes that arent for light bulbs and silcone around the whole headlight where the backing and the clear piece meet and they will be fine.

X2. You really can't go wrong. I didn't feel like the hassle myself, so I sent my headlamps to Lordfeyr and with me shipping them to him, paying for his time and effort, and paying to ship back, I was out $60 dollars. $20.00 less than your average eBay lights and they are actually glossy, and I got smoked reflectors.

Guys, fogging is normal. Headlights have vents on the back- they are supposed to "breathe" to neutralize the atmosphere inside the housings. You can silicone all you want but you are wasting your time.
