Need Some Running Board Advice!

I have a 2011 Fx4 Screw in ignot silver and need some black running boards.

I'm looking at either the 6" Lund oval nerf bars or the 6" Westin premier oval tubes. I'm leaning toward the Lund pair, but they are semi-gloss black.

Anyone have a pair on their Fx4? I'm also open to suggestions and/or pics.

I'm trying to figure this out too. I'm debating having my chrome ones on my 2010 black FX4 painted black or selling them and looking at the amp research steps. Katpeeler do you have a pic of yours?

I ended up buying a pair of black 5" oval nerf bars from Lund. I'll post some pics once I have them installed.

Cool Lund 5" Oval Nerf Bars, they look great and were easy to install

Just got my 2014 White F-150 4x4! Dealership wanted $1000 for nerf bars! I found a good deal from autoanything.com. With the promo code CHILL20, I got %20 off and paid only $250 for the Lund 5" Oval Wheel-to-wheel, nerf bars in black. Shipping only took a week and I was able to install them myself over the weekend. I am not a mechanically inclined person at all. But, after watching some instructional videos on youtube, I mustered the confidence to tackle the install. All in total it took about 3 hours. I love the look and it is much easier for the kids to get in and out. The only problem is now I think I need mud flaps! I hope they are as easy to install!
