Finally went billet! Big pics inside!
Hey Flats Man.
The Heatwave was a blast, but it was badly organized this year. The guys weren't sure if they would come next year. They made no attempt to mute the booming subs emitting streams of curse words, and there were children walking all through the show. Made me sick. On the other hand,it was quite an experience and I would do it again. The feeling of entering the show in a crowd of f-150's was great. I also want to try to make it to the FFW this year, maybe I'll be in Houston then.
Thanks for the heads up on the Active Suspension, too.
A note about the low mounted emblem,it is an older style(and smaller) trunk emblem. The new ones are all sealed up,and made of that rubbery clear(urethane?)matierial. This only applies if you are trying to paint it black like mine, though
. I'm not sure if the trucks' grill emblem would fit in the bumper grill.

Maybe I will see you at the FFW in October! Thanks for the info on the emblem. I have a couple of them so I will see how it comes out. If you get back to Florida, I still have some of that German Beer!
