Windshield tint strip
Windshield tint strip
Does anyone make a pre-cut tint strip that fits across the top like 6-8 inches of the windshield of a 2006 F150?
I already know that my truck is one of the ones that the F150 logo is in the glass, and not on the surface, so the tint will stick no problem.
Just wanna know if anyone makes a pre-cut piece I can install myself.

I'm gonna make a couple calls tomorrow and see about getting it done.

Mine was $20 and took 15 mins from pulling up to the shop to leaving the shop. I gave him a $5 tip because I knew I would be having him do more tint work in the future. I recently went back and had him strip my old tint and put 3% on all the windows except the windshield. He remembered me and gave me a hell of a deal.

It must be 5% then because he uses SunTek brand.
Luckily I have a buddy whos friend is a pro and did mine super cheap. Did my whole truck (4 doors, 3-piece rear glass, windshield strip) for $120.
Strip shouldn't be more than 15-20 at a shop. I love it, keeps the sun out of my face.

Busy as hell at work today, so I didn't get around to making any calls.
Gonna probably call a local shop where I know the owner and see what he'd charge me to have his tint guy do it. Hopefully I can just buzz down there on my lunch hour tomorrow and get it knocked out.
I'm thinking an 8 inch strip should be fine. I'll measure and see how far that would come down as to whether it would be in my main line of sight or not.
