I was at the Craftsman Truck race... very cool! It was the first "Nascar" race I have been to. Gotta say though, if the #24 Chevy would have kept his motor intact he could have smoked the field!
Nice facility but have to question the choice of Coors for the "official" beer

I will be there with my truck on Saturday and possibly Sunday. Hopefully it doesn't rain. Like you said the track is great. Was given the chance to work traffic control 5am to noon and get in both days for free. Not a bad deal if you ask me. Hope to see some of you guys there.
darn, wish this would have posted sooner.. says the deadline to enter trucks it 7/10. I would have tried to make it........ <added later> OOPS, guess i should have read all the way down.. can register day of event for $40..

I would like to offer this chance to meet as many F 150 folks as possible next weekend that just happen to attend the event at Kansas Speedway! Please bring the family, but better yet throw the family in that Ford F 150 or whatever ya gotta bring and come out to the 1st Annual Kansas Speedway TruxPo Truck Tour next weekend. Since I personally have never been to an event like this, I have been to many others like Car Craft Summer Cruise, Hot Rod Power Tour, and many other local and long distant cruise nights, this is hopefully going to turn on the be an awesome event. ( fingers crossed)
So help us get the word on the street, start polishing those wheels, wipe out the wax and tire dressing shelves at your local Wally World and get those awesome F 150's on down to the speedway, here's is the incentive, they are even going to allow us parade laps around the new track just like Dale and all the guys from Daytona! God Speed Dale# LQQKin good #8

Hey you guys, what happened this weekend. All I know is that I am sunburnt and had a good time, met some guys from online like Ringo with that awesome SVT L from Kansas. Just for those of you who heard about it and didn't make it, you didn't miss much unless you are lacking the sun you can't get at home. I can atleast say I drove around 2 laps on Kansas Speedway before any of the big boys come to town. I would like to let everyone know they say there will another event next year, so maybe we could get a convoy to go in 2002, what ya all think. So guys start kissing up to the wives and keep those truck lookin good, Kansas will be better in 2002, now if I can only wait until September 29th and 30th! I do have pictures and will post once I get them downloaded from camera!
