i had these on a GMC sonoma and i made a small braket for behind the grill all 5 horns and the small compresser fit so there should be plenty of room on the F150 just make sire you point them so they wont collect water and dont extend the air tubing (both mistakes i made) obvious but i over looked it

Mine are where the spare tire used to be, but my horns are a little bigger than a dixie horn.

i have an 05 screw and i put the compressor/tank in my bed box and then installed the trumpets right above the rear axle you can see them a little right above the rear tires if you look from the side. they actually face to the left because thats the only way theyd fit but noooo problems hearing the horn in any direction

If you have a toolbox just mount them underneath it. A friend of mine did it that way and you have no problems hearing it.

I mounted a set on my 2005 on the driver's side on the rad support. I made a bracket and mount the horn one up one down for space then mounted the compresser behind the head light. It took some think and work but mount really nice and hidden. On my truck for about 3 years with no problems I will try to get some pic for you.
