Paint Change?

I have a 2006 F-150 XLT, it is currently a dark Gray, but im considering having it changed to Black, any suggestions on places to get it done?
Any warnings about it? Im 16 and paying for all of this myself, so im not looking to break the bank on this.

Thanks

Well to have it done right you're most likely going to break the bank. Done right means removing all the trim and emblems, removing the bed, doing the door jambs, etc. There's a ton of prep work that goes into it.

A truck that's that new is worth more than having a Maako job done on it. My advise would be to just leave it alone. That's a really nice truck to have being 16 yrs old...enjoy it for what it is! Just my .02

yup. Spend the money on some wheels and tires or something like that. A good paint job is expensive and not worth it just to change the color. Your better off selling it and buying a black one

ya you dont wanna just do the visible areas. cause betweent your cab and bed ell be different. and every time you open your doors youll see gray and it wont look good. if you have like paint defects, you can always have it spot painted and then re clearcoated. its cheaper and makes it look brand new but itll still be the same color. I plan on doing it to mine

Everyone hit the nail on the head. Get some PTM bumpers (front with fogs imo) and dress her up that way. Wheels and tires too. Do what you can afford man that's reasonable.
