'10 tail gate for 08'

im needin some infofrom y'll. so my mom has an oxford white 08 king ranch and shes wantin that tail gate with the step built in because the truck has a leveling kit and 20s with 35s so it sit ups higher than usual. but anyways, i know the 2010's come with that tail gate handle and i was wonderin if an 09-11 king ranch tail gate would fit. or do they even oxford white kind ranch's or are they the pearl white now. anybody with some info lemme hear it! on and it will need the camera in the handle for the rearview video

The only thing that is different is the 10-11s have. A slant on top. Get a superduty one.

If it does work but the wrong color you could always get it painted.

No super duty gate will fit without heavy modification. The 09-11 gate will fit but will look hella awkward because they stick out at the top like a spoiler.

truth is, I hate the step on my 08 SD... Every time I close the gate dirt comes out all over the gate.... It's a neat idea.

I know I saw someone do it to the older bodystyle. I saw it on here he had a black truck and switched the tailgate for a superduty one but I don't remember his name. It actually looked pretty decent.

looks this idea is a no go. im not about to start cutting into a 08 king ranch just for a step that sounds like a pain in the *** if its around dirt at all. she can just throw a milk crate back there if need be! haha

those look goof in my opinion if we're thinkin bout the same things.those little steps on the sides of the new f150s that fold out look dumb too. if i had one that'd be the first thing to come off. i'm lookin at some amp research steps right now for the back that fold out from the corners. i'm more than happy with the amp research running boards.
