Do you think it would be wrong to....

Put Roush nightmare badges on a Black crew cab 4x4, that has the Roush dropped suspension , grille and tailgate badges and other Roush goodies? Anyone who knows anything about the Roush lineup, knows what a Nightmare is. It wouldnt be like I was trying to pass my truck off as a nightmare. I think of it as , what I wish they offered. Isnt that what customs are anyway ? I already get bashed for the badges by people that have no clue what they are talking about anyway, so whats the difference. Give me your thoughts on this. J.B.

It's your truck, do what you want to.

I clone a Harley F150 with my '07 Screw. It had Harley badges, grill, headlights, tail lights, 20" wheels and painted front bumper. Everyone liked it a lot. My dealer liked what had done so much that they invited me to put my truck on display one weekend that they had one of those promotional days with BBQ and music.

I hear what your saying. Your truck is sharp. The dealers I have been to also were impressed with what I have done. I've been on the fence between adding Roush stage 2 badges, cervini's fender vents, or the nightmare badges. The only thing about the nightmare badges is , they are blacked out and with my chrome bumpers , I dont think it would look quite right.

good luck getting the Nitemare badges. You have to have the vin # from one to even order them.

also, I've never been a fan of badging your truck something that its not

Not that this helps you, but I saw Nitemare badges on eBay about a year ago. They were going for a couple hundred dollars at that point. They seem almost as elusive as the Saleen tailgate applique. Props to you if you can get your hands on a set I suppose.

I would debadge the whole truck if there wernt holes under them. I also prefer the clean look. Nightmare badges can be had off Ebay. Ive seen them quite often. If I went with the stage 2 badges , That's pretty much what my truck is, but with a few more extras. The only thing is I didn't pay Roush to put it together and get a Roush serial number. I came out ahead money wise. and resale isn't really a concern of mine , most of my vehicles I sell for scrap when I'm done with them. lol

Damn... They've dropped in price since the last time I looked at them. At that price I'd say go for it!

Three of those are used. Most the ones I've seen are brand new and priced like it.

I may go for it. If I dont put them on my truck, They would jazz up my welding helmets nicely.

hey as i was reading i noticed you said you were thinkin bout fender vents. to me that'd look better than anything and you dont see fender vents quite as often. i would had the perfect nitemare truck with it being black and a two door flareside but out in the country lowering a truck and puttin 22s on it causes alot of headache when you need to get stuff done. lol but if you like roush products then nitemare badages are where its at, we have a 05 roush mustang and they make really good, solid products in my opinion. oh and if somebody gives you **** about roush badges just tell em to suck one, its your truck. lol

I think those badges would look good on your truck. Heck, I have an FX4 and the only "FX4-based" items left on it are the bed stickers! Everythings else has been swapped out, including the badges (got the '09 badges, although I did get the FX4 ones). Sooo, like some mentioned above, your truck, do as you like.
