Opinions: Ebay Headlights

Do any of ya'll have experience with this product? I'm just starting to look into headlights and taillights for my '05 Scab Flairside FX4.

Thanks for any help folks,

David Walker

I am a little suspicious, they don't say that they are DOT approved

Good catch. I'll go send them a message and ask.

Found these tails. Not sure I like them, but flairside options seem limited. I sent a question about DOT cert. already.

These might be another tail option. Again, not in love with either.

The heads are fine...similar to what I have. Just make sure you seal them with silicone before installing so they don't leak.

Mine were fine, the headlight adjustment plastic screws were a little cheap. Had mine over 2 years no issues.

Thanks 05. Does anybody make a decent looking tail light for the flaresides? Guess I'm just gonna have to smoke mine. I really don't like those "Euro" style lights.

I have an Ebay black housing LED tail light...I tinted it though to get rid of the euro look. Pretty easy to do and comes out great if you take your time and follow my writeup in the How To section.

MBlouir (matt) has my same tail lights tinted

Sam's actuallly look really good for an aftermarket LED....would look even better with a light tint of the lens and leave the backup lights as they are.

One thing I noticed on some of the Euro style is a big round reflector for the back-ups. To me that says they'll produce more light. Have ya'll found that to be true? Anything to improve backup lights is good. Of course aux backups are the obvious choice.

Sam, I saw those online, but didn't like 'em. But now that I see 'em on, they're not bad at all. I agree a light smoke would be even better. But I do like those.
