Can any tell me wher I can find an FX Grille (black or gray w/ paint to match sorround) for an 05 F-150? Thanks in advance to anyone who can help.

 

Saw a couple on E-bay earlier today.

 

The grill itself is easy to find on ebay. The painted surrround is a bit more difficult

 

Found mine on ebay fairly cheap, less than $75. I used my factory painted surround though.

 

Is your surround chrome? Just paint it yourself like I did mine. I wrote a DIY article on how to paint your chrome grill surround. So far mine has held up good.

 

I have a paint shop that'll paint the sorround to match for free when I go in to get some other work done. Thats why I would like one with a paintable sorround and gray or black bars. I'm getting the work done at the end of the month so time is an issue. Please advise. Thanks.

 

Still looking. Any Ideas? Timetable was pushed to Jan. (monetary restraints) I have some time if anyone has any ideas.

on another note, how hard is it to remove factory grille from surround and attach new?

IMHO - looks better than the FX2 unit.

The Fleabay FX2 grille linked to by Shanks above has the dang TABS ground off! WTF is up with that??? Do ya just RTV the thing on there?

Damn, just noticed that... That seems like a stupid thing to do..

How does the Ford oval attach to the FX2 grille.. Would my stock H-Bar one come off and just bolt onto the FX2?
