My truck is white, i have the chrome package which includes chrome grill, bumpers and steps. I bought a low profile toolbox in black because i love the way the black looks on my truck. my problem is all the chrome preferrably the grill and the bumpers, the steps are the easy part, just take them off. I wanna go with black wheels becasue i love the black on white look and i have black leather interior. To get down to my question is my truck going to look mix matched with black wheels, black toolbox but chrome bumpers and grill.

 

yep I got a white lariat and it has chrome bumpers Im trying to find some white bumpers . I hate chrome.

 

just hit up some junkyards and find some in white and trade them straight across. tell them the chromes would sell alot faster than the painted and they should trade you even.

thats what i plan on doing for mine.

 

i may consider doing that.i just wonder how my truck would look all whited out like that. White and black...Maybe paint my antena and my sirius radio ant to ...No black at all except tool box and wheels..hmm

I agree, white is one of the colors that looks good with black wheels, but before you go as extreme as changing bumpers, I would look into some wheels that are black with chrome accents or vice versa. Just a thought.

 

White and Silver are the ONLY color that look good with black IMO. Paint your bumpers, handles and mirror caps white. It'll look sick with black wheels. The black tool box will go godd with the black bed rail caps.

 

My truck is a mix of black and chrome and I think I am done with black, besides black nerf steps and painted heads. To me the full blackout is a bit much, I think it is cool and very unique, just not for me. Take my truck and think of it white. I think yours would look fine, I too love the look of a white truck with black wheels. Here is an example for you of a guy's truck from the f150online forums, just imagine chrome grill and handles

 

I actually had the same dilemma you did when I went with it. Didn't know how some black wheels would look on my truck. I found my wheels and fell in love though. I also have a black toolbox. Heres some pics, hope they help

Side molding off, runningboards off, rear decal off, tinted tail lights


bumper pad painted white, new black lightning heads (just wish the weather would allow me to get the fender flares/bottom vailance painted white)


last but not least, if shes dirty, white black or chrome, they can all look good
