Pre Cut Window Tint Kit

I have 20% tint now I am wanting to go darker but all my local shops want a lot of money to tint my truck again so I was thinking about doin it myself. Has anybody ordered those pre cut tint made for for your truck if so is it worth it and how hard is it to put on? And yes I know its illegal.

I would suggest this place, heard quite a bit of good about them. I think a few member have bought their pre-cut kits also.

I've used the pre-cut tints from ebay (computercuttint). I believe the price was like $35 shipped the my door. I've done 2 mustangs, and my wifes pontiac with them without any problems. I'm contemplating going down to 5% on my truck and would have no 2nd thoughts on using the pre-cut stuff on it.

I wish we could install aftermarket window tint here. In NH if it didn't come from the factory that way it doesn't (isn't supposed to) get inspected.
I have had to peel mine right off (several years ago) at the inspection station in order to get my sticker.

well i think im gonna go with the northerntint kit but what should I do? Remember I want it dark and they dont really press the tint issue here. Anyways I have 20% all the way around should I got with 35 or 205 all the way around on top of my already 20%?

I've purchased the pre-cut stuff off ebay for my Cavalier. The only reason I did, was cause it was for my Cavalier. Never ever would I put the stuff on my truck. The tint itself is ok. It isn't as high quality as what you get in a real tint shop (which is why you pay more), but the main issue is installing it. If you've never done it before, you're GOING to mess it up and end up with little white bubbles from finger prints. I had a buddy help me who had done several cars of his own, and it still turned out "ok" for the standards I hold for my $350 Cavalier. For a beater, it's ok stuff. For a nice truck, spend the $60 and get your front windows tinted professionally.

Dnt do it, it looks like **** and youll never get the air bubbles out. Only use lumar or 3m film. All the others scratch.
