Need help painting

I have an 05 F150 and I was thinking about painting the headlights black, the grille surround, and the tops of the mirrors. I was wondering if anybody has done any of these mods and could give me instructions on how to do it. What paint, sandpaper, etc. Thanks

Ok I figured out how to paint the headlights, now should I paint them a gloss black or a satin black?

Gloss is going to be more shiny (like my running boards, fender flares, grill, hood cowl) a Satin is going to be like my door handles, badges and mirror caps. check my gallery for pictures. I would recommend Gloss Black or the Krylon Fusion for plastic.

I got factory matched paint from automotivetouchup.com you just give them your paint code and they match it perfectly. Painted a FX2 grille and my door handles. I used their step by step instructions and I couldn't be happier with it. They even have a video demonstration.

Thanks. I just didn't know what would look better. I haven't personally seen the gloss black headlights, I've only seen the satin, and I didn't know how it would look. But probably going to do gloss.
