Cool Paint to match grille

So I got sick of the faux chrome grille I had on my F-150 so I up and painted it to match the truck. If anyone is looking for a cheap alternative to whatever grille came with their truck, I'd recommend doing something like this. I took a couple pics if anyone needed a reference. The only thing I would've done differently is add another coat or two of clear coat.

The color was True Blue. I used Duplicolor paint. They've got a good guide on their website for finding the right color to match whatever your application might be. http://www.duplicolor.com/appGuide/applicationGuide.pdf I picked it up at Autozone along with the self-etching primer and clear coat. Here's a pic of it. It was taken with an old iphone so I apologize about the crappy quality. Name: c71fa6bd.jpg

Damn, I was afraid it was Duplicolor. They don't have my color. Dark Blue Pearl. Looks good. I agree with the painting the headlights.

Ha I'm not sure I could pull off painting the headlights without screwing something up! I've definitely never seen any F150's with painted headlights though...

PTM headlights on your truck would be sick. Theres a couple of guys on this website that have them. One guy with a red f150 lowered has it done. Can't think of his name though. I'm sure someone else will chime in. Theres also a how to on the website that I followed and my headlights came out great.
