I haul stuff in mine all the time...and take it on gravel roads and throw up an enormous amount of rocks with my tires and no mud flaps

It has a lexan plastic coating over the lights...Im pretty sure you could run it over and it wouldn't break

Recon

I am on my second light bar. The first was an Ebay special and worked for bout 2 years then some lights went out. I have a Recon now and it appears to be better quality. I have had it about a year.

Go Recon. I have the Recon Xtreme and love it. Too bad I just sold my other one to Shanks12 for $80, you could have bought the Xtreme off of me.

to put it in comparison i paid 100 bucks for mine with a hard wire install when i had the recon on my first HD. And i'll guarantee you. You aren't gonna find that cheaper anywhere else.

im sorry, it was mis-interpreted the wrong way. after reading it i understand what you thought i meant. my meaning behind my statement was:

to much going on with the truck, like to much "bling" maybe? ive never seen one around here on a vehicle so i cant picture them in real life.

I got a Rampage for my truck. Got it from a local car stereo shop a friend runs. Simple to install, and works great. Plugged it into my 4-pin connector, and hard-wired the reverse light as instructions stated.

Got lots of compliments on it from friends who own trucks. And, from the sounds of things, I may end up installing a few of them in the near future for some friends. LOL.

i never said anything was wrong with rampage. I just like the solid white reverse light not the red/white pattern.

Right on man. I'm not ripping any brand over another at all.

I got a good deal on mine.(know the guy who runs the shop) So, I couldn't have refused. And I know he wouldn't sell me junk. Buy all my stereo gear from him, and anything else I can get thru him, I do.
