Line-X exterior ?

Anyone done it and have pics ? I am planning to remove my side trim and have the sides Line-X'd from the bottom up to where the existing chrome trim runs acorss the sides. Below is a ref pic so that you can see what im talking about. The chrome side trim will come off, and the lineX will go up to the point of where the current trim is leaving no chrome running along the side.

From: Nordern Michigan....Just under da bridge eh!
On a new truck like that I think it would look a bit "cheap"

Everyone does it around here to cover up their rust holes in the 90 somethin F250 work trucks.

I say paint it a textured black possibly but not a full on Line X bed liner. If it was me I would take the chrome trim off and leave the lowers alone

I wonder how much weight it added.
0.7 lbs/sq.ft. roughly at 1/8" thick.

Interesting to say the least.
