Looking good man. I can't wait to see it when its all done. Might have to do it to my truck but my sill is the diamond plate plastic and I would have to find a different way to do it since I don't have "Ford" to light up.

Doing a great job man! The only wire i know is the one that runs lights at the back of doors when opened, can maybe trace it back to kick plate!

Yep they got fancy door plates on the new ones JU

So i tapped into the dome lights and i was like shiit yeah so i cut the extender wire and forgot to disconnect my battery..... my dome lights still work when i push them but neither the front or back turn on with the door:[ I hate this! i was too eager and forgot the most important step and now my dome lights are fckd. I will go now and try that diagram but any ideas on how to fix the damn lights to open with the door? I tapped into the harness at my fron dome lights and had my really long extender wire. I cut it and the dome lights shut off even though my door is open. Im going now to try those wires.... with the battery disconnected of course and see if it works. But i am going to the dealership tomorrow to see if they can fix that and my door handle on the inside, the spring broke and it opens but it doesnt go in haha but help would be wonderful

Any ideas to fixing the dome lights? I had my doors open and the lights were on. So i disconnected the front dome light harness and tapped into 2 wires and LEDs lit up. So i attached a wire and ran it to the door sill. i cut it to make it smaller and now my dome lights dont work. My instrument panel responds to my light dimmer but my dome lights dont turn on even if put in full on or off positions. im pretty much desperate to finsh this project to see how it looks so i may take it to my dealership tomorrow or maybe an autoshop idk but i want this done tomorrow

well its 1212 and im going to bed. I may just check all the fuses. I read my fuse chart in mt manual and could find any fuses that could have a relationship with dome lights or dealing with lights coming on with doors:[
