Unhappy lets talk tail lights

so im looking to black out my truck... are these tail lights too good to be true and peices of crap or are they a good find?
(amazon is down right now but they are the second tail lights down)

I'm not a big fan either. It's hard to find good tail lights these days. But if you think they look good go for it. We never know it might look good on your truck. but seperately not so much to me.

do LEDs look better on truck in your opinion or european style? what about these?

Those that I posted a pic of are the first ones from that list you posted. The ones I have on my truck are professionally painted. You can also do it yourself with the VHT nightshades. Here are pics of mine.

so if i wanted to get them as dark as yours, would my stock tail lights be strong enough to shine throw with nite shade applied? or would i have to get LED lighted tail lights?

Mine are still 90% as bright. At night you can't even tell they're tinted, even during the day the light shines through like normal, but thats because it's automotive paint. I've heard that if you go to dark with the nightshades you lose a lot of light output.

A friend of mine that paints did mine for free. He usually charges $60, but that him. I've of heard people paying anywhere from that price to $150.

so now im in a new pickle... i called texas DPS and they said i cant pass inspection with tinted tail lights, and i called inspection places and they say the same

Buy stock tails cheap, put them on & get inspected, after inspected, do the Harley mod to them following my thread technique and directions, sell them for $90, repeat the process next year. You should end up with $20 in profit after it all
