2-grouns too close together shouldnt matter as long as they are grounded. i have had 4 grounds from different things including a 760W amplifier on the same ground with no bad effects. a ground is a ground. biggest problem i had was finding a screw that was actually made from METAL!!!! i ended up drilling a hole in the floor and putting a screw in it and throwing the wires under it before i tightened it. then on another install i used the metal screws under the dash above the gas pedal. that was my 04 heritage i had. so far my 08 just has my halos to a toggle. toggle is grounded under the dash, halos are grounded under the hood.
My Hellas have a white power wire and blue ground also

i guarantee that black it the power and the blue is the ground. i thought it was weird too. the blue grounds connect to the white wire that comes off the bulb.

thats just dumb. we have been using white or red for power and black for ground for all these years and some company decides to be "creative" and make the colors different so when you go to install it and you hook it up like other stuff gets hooked up, you mess it up and you gotta replace crap. if it aint broke, dont fix it. betcha toyota wishes they would have done that. the gas pedals 10 years ago were fine. but they went and changed them and look what happened. just when they were pretty much voted the best and highest quality, the screwed up their reputation. even comsumer reports demoted all the cars so none of them are "recommended" now. oh darn, guess that means ford is still the best...

it wasnt the pedals that were the problem- the ECU and cruise control would short on the "accel" button creating one very fast toyota

I'm all about that

As a side note, maybe some clear headlights?

Also, which 550FFs did you get, driving or fog light pattern? How bright are they? I wanna pick some up from Walmart (which I think are the driving light pattern), but not sure how far they "reach" to use a bambi lights when out in the back roads.

ya. headlights are next on the list. just havent gotten around to them.

the hellas are the driving light pattern. they are pretty dang bright. i went down a dark road last night to test them, and i could easily drive without my headlights on. they will reach pretty far, just depends on how you aim them. right now i have them just above my low beams since i dont have hi's with my HIDs

incorrect. Lack of ground is an open circuit with no current flow, low current flow will never pop a fuse.

A high resistance would cause excessive voltage drop and lower amperage
