Question Which Way Should I Go?

Just wanted to see what everyone thinks I should do. I was going to touch up my grille, bed rails, wiper cowl, rear window surround, and possibly lower front valence. My question is what colors? The cowl and the passenger window surrounds used to be black. The bumper pad and pads on the step bars are black. However, the bed rails and the valence were grey as is the grille. I have the grey two-tone on the bottom of my truck. So what colors would you use on these parts? Here's a couple pics of my truck. Thanks for the input.

IMO you need to get your bumpers PTM the two tone grey. Painting all the plastics satin black with krylon fusion as well as getting some non chrome step bars would be really nice.

Then again.. you have a really nice truck as-is.

Thanks guys. I've thought about the whole PTM bumper thing, I just wasn't sure about the front one. I have the gray upper lip on my front bumper and just wasn't sure if that would be too much gray.

So as far as the plastics go, it seems like black is the winner so far? I've had it suggested to PTM the lower valence to the red color similar to the way Powers150 did his truck in black. His truck looks pretty dang nice.

Thanks again for the input guys. Just trying to keep myself busy so I don't get the new truck bug!

I'm in the same boat. all my plastic need redone but its a mix of black and grey. I was originally going to do all black but then I painted my bed-rail caps in some duplicolor textured metallic paint. It came out really nice and closely matches the factory gray so now I think I will do all the black black and keep the gray gray. It all depends on what look your going for. BTW I did a write up on painting my caps on the appearance products page.

Yeah, I really liked the look of your bed rails. I read that write-up and got me motivated to do my stuff! I just want my truck to look clean...well as clean as it can without getting a whole new paint job.

I think since the gray on your 2 tone is a different gray than your bed rails it would look good to do all the plastic in black.

You should request down in the PS thread someone to render things you want changed to the colors desired that would be the best bet.

BTW I really like your truck theres not too many Fiddys in that generation I like but yours is one of em. My opinion would be ptm the body color OMG thats sweet color!

Thanks StrikeSwiftly! I appreciate the comments and the input. Also appreciate the Photoshop work! Thats a great idea. If its ok, I may ask you for a few more things. Those color combos look awesome. I really like that black two-tone. My fender flares are starting to peel a bit, so they may be due for paint anyway!

What wheels? I think Monsters or Novakanes would look killer.

I wish I was in the market for wheels. Unfortunately, can't afford that change. Would you mind doing some photoshop on the front of my truck? Or would you rather I post in the photoshop thread? I'd like to see my front with a black grill, black upper bumper and black lower valence. Then I'd like to see it with a black grill, and PTM (red) lower valence. Leave the rest the way it is. Thanks!
