I doubt it, Chevys are tuned quite well factory compared to Fords, and their engines perform really good, and the smaller width tire they put on and their lighter weight, helps them move quicker. The only way my truck beat my friends Z71 was after I got custom tuned, and I set my limiter to 140 , like it would ever get there

I talked to a guy the other day who holds the record for the highest speeding ticket given in Ga., driving a Porche turbocharged model (I don't recall the model number he told me), clocked at 198. Passed a cop in the median at 150+, kept going, had a helicopter clock him at 198 later. Long story short, he ended up with just a fine. (Worked for government security)

Anyways, why would you want to go faster than 100 in these trucks? I've nailed 97 and felt it was plenty fast enough for me. Things get a bit squirrely, even at that speed. Just my .02

Cause some people run their mouths and intrigue others minds.. and they usually give in and go race. "Your Ford aint sheeet! my dodge will shmoke it!!"

I'm a victum of it , as i'm sure many others are too, but if you do it on a mostly secluded road way and are willing to accept the responsibilities for your actions, so be it right?

Cool

HI!... Been up to 154MPH in my F-150 and 125mph in my Ranger. Both trucks were perfectly stable at those speeds.

Before it shifts into second gear. I've always kept it locked in 1st cause I'm scared to see what it'll do in the other 3 gears.

100+

Why go 100mph ? The average speed on some highways here in MA. is about 85 mph .( at certain times of day) even though its a posted 65mph limit. So when you want to put some distance between yourself and the dillweed whose tailgateing you , a lil push on the skinny pedal takes me right to 100 in no time.
