i left them on the truck, i just taped everything off..i did pull the tailgate one off and paint it..i was gonna do the front valance and wiper cowl and arms..but i guess im to stupid to get the wiper arms off! haha and after i did this i didnt feel like messing with the valance i just washed my truck and right after i painted them i didnt notice to much of a difference in the sun..well i washed it and parked in the shade and i was like "DANG!!!" looks a lot better..i may do the valance and the part around the rear glass this weekend.

If you want to remove them to paint, they just snap in and out. Shouldn't be difficult. I learned that the hard was when a 30mph crosswind lifted my toneau cover off and peeled back one of the bed caps. Fortnately it just snapped back into place - tonneau cover was not so fortunate.

^ i couldnt get them off..you have to push some clips together..and the front and back ones are a pain to get to even with my 45 degree needle nose..so i just left them on

i keep telling myself im going to do it haha... Looks great man. Maybe hit it up with some clear coat to get some shine during the day and to help protect it and last longer.

i thought about clearcoating it, but i wasnt sure about it or not..ive still got alot more to do! haha

what else do you plan on doing? Yeah clear coat will just give ya the extra protection against the sun and weathering to last longer

i kept telling myself i was gonna do this too..had the paint and everything in my truck for about a month now...today i finally got bored enough to do it/felt like doing it..i got through with these and was like EH! im done for today

haha yeah after i did my tail lights im done for awhile with painting
