wood grain kit for dash?

ok guys what are your opinions on stick-on wood grain kits? the other day just for grins i bought a black and wood grain steering wheel cover and am really considering doing other parts of my dash (probably just the column with A/C control and radio, etc)

so anyway do you think woodgrain kits look classy or tacky? here are a couple bad pics of the interior

so should i keep it black or woodgrain it (the dash section)? also any pics would be helpful

The stick on simulated wood grain dash covers look rather cheesy to me... They are just not high quality. If they are not applied just right... pretty cheap appearance... What's worse is they are not inexpensive. I would have to say Pass...

I too like the look of my Lariat interior, the woodgrain really dresses it up. I haven't seen the stick on kits so no comment. I did read in another thread where a guy bought some stick on stuff to expand his Lariat look to the steering wheel - I'd seen that stuff and considered it too but his report was it does not match. So go either all after-market or, like the other suggestion, get some out of a Lariat --- but the look is good IMO.

There's websites like dashkitspecialties.com where you can get the molded dash pieces, or just go with the OEM. The stick-ons just look really cheap IMO

yeah any aftermarket kits usually don't look good they are either sticker style or just cheesy looking. I was kinda up in the air with my wood grain on my Lariat but its has definitely grown on me, same with the old man two tone. Actually the coolest trim is definitely the Limited dash trim, looks pimp.
