DDM Tuning kit help

Ok i bought the H13 Lo kit from DDM tuning.

Apexcone Raptor Brand HID Kit
Options:
Wattage : 35W Bulb Type : H13 Bulb Color : 5000K

Question: Is there anything else that should have came with the kit not including the Bulb and Ballast? Because I tried to install them today and
there is no way that the ballast connects to the factory wiring harness.

thanks - Earthdigger

Did you download the manual from DDM's site? The link below is for the HI/LO, but I think the wiring harness connectors are the same. Plus it has pictures (the manual that came with my kit didn't).

so i am guessing that the "Kit" that u buy from ddm tuning is not a full kit. that u still need to get the wiring harness? because there is nothing in my kit that connects to the battery. I kinda have this feeling that they sent me the wrong ballast. because the ballast end has 2 prongs like this ( I I ) and the Oem harness is this ( - - - ).

My kit was a full kit, but it was the slim 55W, not the Apexcone Raptor. The only loose connections I had were battery (+) and ground. It took me about 30 minutes (only because I had to figure out where I wanted the ballasts mounted).

I'd e-mail or call them.

That's not at all what mine looked like. The Raptors must be dramatically different than the Slims or they sent you the wrong kit. The bulbs do look right though. The cable ends don't match the installation manual or the pictures on the Raptor page.

All your connections should be plug type with the exception of the battery and ground.

That little harness is what they provided for your to connect between the harness on the ballast and your factory fog lamp connector.

Good luck dealing with DDM. I had poor results with them.

svt2205 got it...those two wires are what you put into the factory connector. I have DDM 35w 5000K HIDs in my DD (2008 Mazda3) and I just slid the two wires into their corresponding places in the factory connector and wrapped it with electrical tape. Haven't had an issue with it.
