Advice/opinions on these lights....

This is the set-up I am looking at going with. If anyone has any personal experience with any of these lights please fill me in on the quality....Or just let me know what you think of the look.

if you are going to be using HID's you may have bulb fitment issues with the housings not being deep enough...you will need to modify the bulb where it goes into the housing.

I like the lights though. The main problem with ebay lights is they are not always sealed properly and some of the LED lights that are with the lights are cheaply wired and tend to go on and off sometimes.

Not quite sure I understand the bulb thing. The lights come with the HID kit installed already. What would I have to do?

The headlights themselves are "ehhh". Had a pair on my 01 for a year or so, but didn't have the money to put HIDs in them at the time. Since the come with HIDs, the light output should be tons better than a halogen set. And they state the bulbs are made specifically for projector housings, so 05BlackFX4 may not be right about modifying the bulb to fit. But it you do, fight them because they say it will.

The tail lights look like nothing more than a set of dark, and I mean dark tinted stock tails. Find a set at a junkyard and smoke them yourself for that price tag.....

The third brake light looks nice, but for me, I'd like to see that one with a red lense instead of smoke.

Headlights - I agree with Derek that I just don't like the look. To me they look ricey and I'd rather get some like the smoked ones I have or the ones dirtyd has and put some hids in. Plus 149 for heads and hids??? My heads cost me 120 alone and the previous set was about 140.

Tails- save your money and nightshade them yourself and get a recon line of fire to make sure you stay legal and it'll only cost you about 55 for the line of fire and 20 to tint yours

3rd brake - I kinda like this one. I've been looking for a new 3rd brake light myself but haven't picked one yet. If you get it let me know how it goes. I'd also wire it up so all three light sections are red since I don't have cargo light option

Thanks for the input guys, It seems as though most of you have an issue with the Halo style lights, was pretty much just looking at them because they seem to be the darkest tinted. I really thought about getting a set and tinting them myself. The only thing that stops me is that this is my everyday driver, and it seems like everytime I start something that should take a couple hours, it goes to crap and ends up taking days.lol

I was also looking at these, but can't stand that orange reflector. I also thought about fighting the bulb for the HID kit.

Personally I like the halo lights but on some they look WAY ricer to me but on my truck I think they might look pretty good compared to the lightning style heads so I will prob go with the halos when I get headlights.
