Has anyone order from DDM lately?

I just ordered my HID kits today, and was wondering if any one else on here has ordered from them recently.

How fast did they ship out to you? Are they still on their monster back order like they were over the summer?

I ordered on the 12th and received mine on the 18th (East Coast) so you should get yours sooner.

Yeah, i ordered mine as well, and was wondering what the average shipping time for them was for any that has ordered then recently.

I opted for the standard shipping, as I won't be back at my apt until sunday night.

I ordered 2 sets from them on Oct 20th.One set was backordered and cause I'm in Canada, I just got em installed on Nov 21st. The heads are 6000k and the bulbs do not match each other, and one bulb is loose in it's hi/lo adjuster, allowing it to shake with road conditions.Looks terrible. Sent in a "ticket" for customer service, but still no word. It's been two business days so far. Can anyone recommend a new vendor for Apexcone bulbs? I'm not impressed with DDMTuning, and won't give them any more of my business.

So I talked with DDM and I can either send back the bad bulbs, and if they want to cover them, they will send out new ones, or I can buy a new set, send back the bad set, and if they want, they will refund my money for the bulb purchase. Or I can keep the bad bulbs, and buy a new set.It would cost me $40-$60 to ship back the old bulbs, and then another $40-$60 in shipping and duties for the new set. I've cruised all over the net, looking for a better price on these bulbs, but DDM has the best price, so it looks like I'll be buying a new set of bulbs. Let's just say that I'm not too happy about it, and this is just one scenario where the "lifetime warranty" doesn't mean jack sh*t.
Be aware of this if you are a Canadian or International buyer....the shipping can "steal" any "deal" you may think your getting.

They are supposed to replace your bulbs with a new pair, because they guarantee the bulbs will be matching. Did you read through the warranty stuff on the FAQ section?

Seems that US companies always stiff Canadian customers, which is wrong I think.

Sorry that happened to you.

Oh yes, I read their warranty, and they are following it to the letter, but because of inflated shipping cost, duties at the border, and currency exchange, it will cost me the price of a new bulb set, just for the shipping of the defective set, and the shipping of the new set, with no guarantee that DDM will even cover the defective bulbs.
Unfortunately, this isn't the first time, or the last time, cross-border shipping will cost me too much money, I guess free trade is just a fantasy.

Yes, the hi/low beam kit is completely different from the low beam only.

I've only had mine for 6 days so I can't tell you about quality. I did want the lifetime warranty so I went with

DDM 35W or 55W Slim Ballast HID Kit

Options:
Wattage : 55 Watt (+$10.00)
Bulb Type : H13 Hi/Lo (+$20.00)
Bulb Color : 5000K
