chrome parking bulbs

So my basic orange signal bulbs are flaking and my drivers side one has lost half of its coating and looks ugly lit up. I like the orange look but I guess the chrome bulbs would look better. Are these the kind everyones buying?

They will be as orange as OEM and how durable are they to the heat? Will they flake as quickly as orange coated bulbs will? $12 seems a little up there just for parking bulbs & I dont want to get LEDs and fight with resisters. Thanks.

EDIT:

See post #43 on page 3 for photos.

and see post #60 on page 4 for LED license plate bulbs.

That ebay listing is for $12, but from Stealthbulbs.com they're $30.. So i'm asking if there is a difference in quality.

I don't know about the ebay bulbs but I put stealth bulbs on my truck over a year ago and they perform flawlessly, there is no flaking and they look GREAT! One of the best, most inexpensive mods you can make - for my money every F150 should have em. And no, I don't work for stealth...

I dont want LEDs because I dont want to fight with resisters and they would look weird in my clear lamp housings.

How long have you had them for? I'm considering buying the $30 stealth ones but it just seems like too damn much for 2 little 3157 bulbs.. But I dont want to have to change them out for years.

And I absolutely do not want no blue looking bulb regardless of if it lights up in amber..

spend the extra little dough, get LED bulbs that are twice as bright and will last 10x longer. all you need is an LED flasher. CAKE!

Not positive on a date but its been about 8-9 months. And they have no hint of blue what so ever.
