Odd tented bug deflector?

OK, guys as said in my other post, I just bought my new truck last week. Well two days later I'm driving down the HWY at 70 mph and the dang hood deflector flies off!!! Uuugh...
Anyway, I have the window "wind deflectors" too and they matched the hood shield. All are an off brownish/maroon tint. I like the look and would like to just get another brownish hood deflector but for the life of me I can not find one with this odd tint color.
PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE, someone tell me they know where to get one???

Here's the only pic I have of the deflector before it hit the highway at 70mph

I am pretty sure it is just a smoked one because it lets some of the truck come through as it is transparent. So just try a smoked one and chances are it will match.

X2. It may have also faded a bit over time to allow more of the truck color to show through.

I thought I was the only one.. When I bought my FX4 about 1 1/2 years ago ( USED 2003) Mine blew off on the way home from where I bought it.. LOL I never put another one on.. But I guess if I ever decide to I will probably go with a clear one ... I still have the side wind deflectors on the windows , it is is great for when it rains because I still smoke even after the government taxed my ciggs..

i have the window deflectors on mine, my truck came with them and a bug deflector, but i took it off. i like its purpose but dont like its look. i left the window ones tho i like em im sure glad they didnt put any on the back windows (extended cab) i hate how stupid they look because they have to get bigger at the back to be able to open the back windows.

Thanks for all the help guys!

I considered this but even looking from in the truck out the window deflectors with a blue sky back ground it's still brown tint looking.
Could they have really faded that much in 3 years/45k miles?

I assume they are factory because the hood shield had the F150 logo on it, but not sure.

I have never liked the hood shield either but for some reason I liked it on this truck. Maybe because it had a brown tint... lol

How the 'H' did it blow off ???? Aren't they sandwiched in between the front grill and the hood? I have an '09 so maybe mine would be diferent. Just curious. I had never heard of one blowing off. I thought they were all attached with screws.

^^^ Mine seemed to be "clipped" on to the front of the hood. Not really sure as I only had it about 3 days before it committed suicide on the Hwy at 70mph! lol
Sucks though cause there are now scuff marks on my hood where the deflector was rubbing the hood...

I assume it was factory and original on the truck. It had the F150 logo on one end of it...
