Looking for your opinion..headrest logo

I'm getting ready to sew out my head rests today...it cold and rainy here in cleveland so I thought I'd spend some time sewing..yeah I said sewing no laughing.I just got done with the pattern and will be sewing it out on a piece of leather before actually doing the headrest.Mistakes aren't tolerated.I had 2 patterns in mind..one said F-150 with lariat below it..kinda typical.. and this one that I think I like better..this one the wife actually did..What do you think..she did the fill patern on the rope to look like rope and I picked the fill on the f-150...The fills make the design.anyway I'm gonna go sew out the sample now..just curious as to your opinions.

Just got done with the sample..Its sewn out on a piece of marine grade interior vinyl which is the same texture as the leather.this way I know how it will lay and what edits have to be done.

Excellent job dont get me wrong... But the rope's knot makes it look alittle King Ranch'ish..

The Lariat and F-150's perfect. Can you do something different with the rope, maybe get rid of the knot?

Awsome job though

Yeah I could..But I wanted to get the Lariat aspect accross instead of just a rope look.
I have decided to do this in 2 colors...The "Lariat" in a color close to what you see but the f-150 in a pewter gray to match the pewter gray console trim and dash trim on the truck. As soon as the wife and I do lunch I'm gonna sew another sample and see how it looks...then its time for the actual headrests if it looks good.

I was thinking the F150 needed to be in a different color as well. Be sure to post up pictures when you get it done.

Awsome idea I was also thinking.. Can you make one that says F-150 in the font like on the fenders and make "Lariat" smaller below it off to the side etc? Might have to send you mine to do

Post some pics when your done
