bedliner will not stick to chrome. your chrome will have to be sandblasted first for it to stick. i just had mine done last week and i like them alot better now and id say do it. i also had mine sprayed instead of roll on

since it was gonna cost more to spray chrome than painted i sold my rear bumper and picked up a painted one for 15 bucks and so the rear cost me 40 bucks to get sprayed. the front bumper and light bar i paid 190 and that included sand blasting and spray on both which were both chrome.

I tried the roll on once, I think it was hurkuliner, the surface needed to be roughed up by sand blasting or a light grind wheel. The product seemed to be good, but the finish was disappointing, I recommend having it sprayed also.

Tanks for the tip im going to see if someone local wants to trade for their painted ones since its cheaper to get those done. Then look at getting it sprayed.

Mine chrome bumps were line-x'd and we just did a heavy sanding. No need to blast it. 6 months now with no trouble. Blast would be better, however not completely needed IMHO.

I did my rear bumper not to long ago. I had a chrome one since my original xl bumper was crushed. All I did was sand it HEAVY. I sanded mine for quite a while. I also primed it pretty well with rustoleum primer. on my last truck, I did the duplicolor bedliner and it look bad in my opinion. This time I used Rustoleum spray can liner, and it came out alot better than I thought. It actually look really good. Just remember to sand it, and let it dry. I let mine sit over night on a weekend to ensure it would strengthen up completely. I'm thinking about doing my front too...
