Door molding and painted tailgate handle **PICS***

Finally had the time with a buddy to take off my door molding. definately was not fun. we started out just peeling it off with our hands, and it definately started to kill. we then used a heat gun, set at 850 degrees, and used 3M adhesive remover and it melted it right off and peeled off like butter.

Also, i painted my tailgate handle couple days ago. Cleaned with dish soap, dried off, 2 medium coats of Krylon Fusion. Let set for 10 mins in between coats. Then Sprayed 2 medium coats of Clear Coat, and let sit 15 mins in between coats. Then polished with 1 Grand. came out great

Here are pics

thanks for the comments fellas. im very pleased with how it came out. only few other mods to do on the body that i can think of are paint the window trim and powder coat the rear and front bumpers, and maybe re tint the windows darker, mainly the back window.. unless i can get more suggestions.

man, id love to, but i havent even looked into them. i would love for my truck to be completely level like it is now, but lower. whats the best kit out there, that will keep the ride nice, but provide less body roll? and price wise.??

Lookg really good man, I know how difficult taking off that molding can be at times.

I like the chrome in the bumpers cause you have chrome wheels.

I think it would look good with exhaust tips in front of right rear tire.

Looks alot cleaner with the side moldings!

An eraser wheel probably would have taken off the 3M adhesive left behind in about 3 minutes, I find myself using it quite often after I took off a set of those stick on hood scoops on my ranger. Used it for removing the left behind gunk with the emblems on this truck. Saves an incredible amount of time
