This just kills me....
This just kills me....
Chrome bumpers on an otherwise, completely blacked out truck !
Yes, mine was that way for about 1 week, and I freaking hated every minute of it !

YUUUK !
Anyway, I see several F150's around my town... at least two red ones, and 1 DSG, which are all blacked "except" the bumpers, and every time I see this, I think to myself > "Any dum-bass with a few dollars, can drive into a wheel shop and say, "I want those 'black ones' right there" and drive out an hour later with black wheels.... but that's basically brainless.
It's quite obvious that if they could do the same thing for black bumpers, they already would have.... but it's like, they get to the bumpers, and hit a stumbling block.
No, turning chrome bumpers black is not quite so easy as black wheels, but that just adds to the coolness, once it's accomplished :-)
Enevitably, somebody is going to say, "But I want / like everything to be blacked "except" the chrome bumpers. Okay. That's fine.... but IMPO, if I had say, a black truck, and wanted just a little chrome, I'd still black the bumpers, and run chrome wheels..... just so I didn't look like a wimp that couldn't get the job done with the bumpers ;-) LOL
Please don't mind me too much. Good coffee this morning..... and kind of exited that I'll be on the water the next three days :-) Whooo Hooo !
Peace,
Fish
PS, But I'll be honest.... getting the bumpers off of our trucks, and all the brackets and trim stripped off of them really is a PITA ! I swear the front and rear bumpers use litterally 60 bolts, screws, and clips !
