Dude i really like your grill tho afterall i am a newb that just happens to have goodluck putting a truck together... but how the heck do you paint a chrome grill? or was it the plastic roush to start with? and then on top of that what do you have down below there where the tranny radiator is?

Roush is chrome over plastic. Here is a good write-up Darren did on his. I think it looks sick black!! If I had a different color truck I would paint mine black.

Edited to add: Below his lower is a Fomoco grill. It is a roush cut apart and brackets fabbed to work in the lower section

Rabbit Hunter's got me covered , fomoco466 made the lower grill

My method , sanded with 150 grit, basically till the chromes almost gone and the paint i used is called Rustoluems paint for plastics with texture , i really like the rustoluem paint , it seems thicker than krylons fusion spray and it has a nice rough texture. i painted mine back in october and in withstood the NJ winter and numerous car washes , with minimal chips , which werent even noticeable.

It took me about a half hour to scuff it up very well. As stated there are my directions of methods in the thread. Only takes 30 mins or less. I went 1 bar at a time and still got it scuffed up and swirled looking in no time. Good preparation is worth a long time for a fantastic long lasting finish.
