PTM KC Stone Guards

Hey guys I was thinking of picking up a set of the KC Stone guards.. probably a white set and then doing a PTM.. how hard would this be to do... or what am I going to need to do this

And KC has them for $20 a piece, you guys know any place cheaper?

This would be an easy project. Sand on the guards to rough the surface, apply ahesion promoter if they are plastic, primer, duplicolor dark shadow gray, clear, and you done. This can be done all with rattle can paint. Hardest part is the prep work of the sanding in between all the tight spots.

Duplicolor makes an adhesion promoter, just follow the instuctions on the can. For the sandpaper I would just rough it up with 220 grit and then a little finer. You could even use a scotch brite pad to rough it up.
