started machining new fender vents

Going ahead and redesigning my fender vents. Machined the 1st one out this afternoon. started the other side tonight... roughly 2 hours to machine. Still have to machine out the fins that will have chrome overlays on them. Ill keep posting updates

I will be selling my old ones if anyone is interested, they match the honeycomb webbing on the front grille.

So is the material you're making the vents out of HDPE? I've worked with that stuff a lot at a prior job.

Pretty awesome, are they going to function at all or just to look pretty?

Very cool project. Are they just stick on or do they require cutting the fender? How about the badge, does it stay or go?

Ive alreday got holes cut in the fender when I put on my first set i made on. I have threaded studs on the back of the vents so they are fastened to the fender from the inside with nuts. The badges are gone. I lined the top of the vent up with the tops of the door handles.
