I'll say! Altho I've never been fond of solidworks, we only use Pro/Engineer at my company for modeling

Id like to get my hands on ProE... never used it.

I was planning on painting the vents this weekend but I forgot to mill out pockets for the threaded studs that go on the backside. Ran past work today to see if my boss was there but no one was. Ill machine and paint then this week. Should have the vents done by the time my new wheels and tires are ready to go on.

Well at least they are going to be functional. Unlike those guys that stick the "Buick" fender vents on their fenders. Half the time they aren't even lined up.

Ya i cut the fender open behind the 1st set of vents i made and there is actually an opening into the engine compartment. I put my hand over the vent today after I pulled into the garage and there was quite a bit of heat coming out of it.

I have used ProD quite a bit in class and ProE very little, it's a bit too advanced for my middle school kids. I've got 6-8th graders using ProD like champs, they love it!!! The high school kids get to play with ProE.

You wouldn't consider making another set(s) while you're at it, would you? Or are you planning on selling your old vents? I would be interested in either, but would prefer what you're working on now...it looks better with the Saleen/Harley/various other bar grilles. Let me know what the pricing would be if you could carve out another pair.....

I wish I had proE introduced to me in high school, my high school courses were only autocad and pencil n paper with T square drafting skills. I first used proE in college. In industry there is no such thing as pencil and paper anymore! The only autocad I use is for recovering drawings 10+ years old
