i was told the same!!! iwanted my lower valance and bed trim and rear bumper trim and the rear window surround painted and they wouldnt do it!!

THey are factory door handles...the guy who did em has been painting 29 years and he gave me lifetime guarantee on them. Sanded them primered with some kind of adhesive prime + base + clear coat.

I know there's some that say you cant and some that say you can. we'll see!

OK i just ordered the AZ beige inserts from patriots. Damn the peer pressure! JK! i think they'll add that final touch of awesomeness!

On a side note, can you give me the specs on the lights? Brand, mounting, wiring, cost, etc.? I'm thinking about adding some behind the grill too.

Looks pretty clean. Badging needs some insert lettering though. Whats with your exhaust tips discoloring?

They are KC slimlites i believe they're $200 new with all the wiring. google "dave's awesome f-150" he has a whole how-to section under "lighting"

the body shop don't wanna deal with them, if done right they will hold up fine.

^^Black would be my choice for the lettering.

PTM'd skull caps would also add an extra something to the overall look of the truck IMO.
