yeah, 9006's (low beams) are meant to be mated to 9005's (high beams) for dual-headlighted vehicles (Silverados, Toyotas, etc). 9007 (us) has both filaments in one bulb

I just threw a set of Ultra's in the Focus. What a PIA is working on that car compared to the F150.
The only reason I put them in was because I bought them for a deal about a year ago.

well i got my Eurodesignz Bulbs in the mail today. Got em installed. They are definitely noticeably bluer than the Silverstars...not sure they are any brighter, but they are at least just as bright...just more of a blue tint to them. More like a 5500 to 6000K color. Not bad bulbs for the price thats for sure! Thanks for the Heads up Atom. I like the look of these bulbs better than the silverstars and you cant beat em for the price, especially with the warranty they have. These will go way better with my LED conversion I am about to finish up.

Ahhhh, I was hoping they would be white, not blue. How blue are they?

Ya Atom is right, they arent necessarily "blue" they just look more a blue color than the Silverstars, but the silverstars are just more of a yellow light compared to these. If I remember correctly 5500 to 6000K is considered "pure" white I think. The Silverstars are 4000K. If u look closely there is a blue tint at the reflector, but that is just the reflection of the coloring of the glass of the bulb. At a distance u cant see that blue reflection. I like em and I'm not big into that ricey look.

Thanks. I guess you guys talked me into them. I just don't want blue, personally, I do not like the way they look at all.

I'm not on this site much since I have several other vehicles. Just recently got a Trailblazer SS and put some HID's on it. Paid a total of $58 for them and they were true plug and play and bright! Tonight I ordered some from the same seller and same temp for the F150. For the price, much better light and color than the Silverstar bulbs, which I'm getting rid of.

and HID's aren't that hard to install. The factory plug connects to the harness on the ballast, and then the bulb that connects to the ballast just plugs into where the factory bulb went. should be a 30 min install or less.

the seller I use:
