There's not a lot of room but enough. Or you can take the whole housing out, three screws. If you know how to operate a nut driver then your more than qualified. Either way, it's very, very easy.

I would look at some bulbs from PIAA. They are a little more expensive, but worth it, in quality and looks.

same price for the heads, overpriced IMO for how long they last.

Agree, I replaced three sets of Silverstars within a year. Heard the Silverstar Ultras are suppose to last longer, but I went with PIAA and been really pleased with them.

I have had the same set of silverstars in my jeep for 2 years now with no problem.

The day after I got my truck, I went to autozone and bought silverstar heads, fogs, and turn signals. I spent about 90 for everything, it was under a 100 for sure. They have been in for almost a year now with no problems. They look awesome.

To my knowledge there is no Silverstar Ultras made for the 04+ F150 taking the H13, 9008 bulbs. I think the only thing available are the regular Silverstars. Thats what I have in mine and they are ok.
I had the Ultras in My Ranger and I really liked them. The standard Silverstars are 4000K I believe and the Ultras are 4100K and according to Sylvania there is a difference in light output (like 10-20% brighter than the standard Silverstars if I remember correctly). IMO the Ultras seemed brighter but that may be based on the color of the light output. I did like the way the Ultras looked.
