Fogs in bumper gap?

Has anyone attempted to put some aftermarket fog lights in the little gap on the bumpers? I don't feel like buying a whole new front bumper and would like a little feedback on the idea or examples.

Are you talking about the area where a lower grill would go? Almost like where the obs superduties had? I think it'd look ok.

Yeah, where the small grille would go. What kind of fogs light and what shape/size would you all recommend?

I'm very interested also for the same reason - what lights are those?

Thanks - I didn't realize there was a difference - I'll just take a measurement and start looking for lights with that in mind.

Well, believe it or not, they were installed by the dealer when I bought the truck. They are from Walmart, about $20 and hang down in bratckets that comes with them. There are holes already in the bumper for bolts that hold the plastic piece to the bumper. They took out those bolts and used the holes to mount the bracket. They are wired into the brights. You can do a separate switch for them.

You may not have as much space, take a measurment and then measure the lights at the store. AutoZone had similar ones, also.

You could also do running lights and wire them into the low beams.

Thanks Bluejay - after I take a measurement, I'll see what fits.
Also, that is exactly how I want the function - driving lights that fire with the high beams - just have to wire a relay in off the high beam wire once I find it.

Thanks Bluejay. I dont really know what I was thinking when I posted...I have and FX4 and it already has the rectangular fogs in the bumper...would look kinda goofy with 2 sets of fogs!
