Night Shade

Would it be alright to spray a coat or two of night shade on my headlights to get that tint effect or would it be better to just take them to a shop and have tint put on them. i like the look of it and also what % should i go with on the tint or how many coats of night shade? i just want that smoked look, if you know what i am saying.

i agree painted would look much better, if you follow the instructions on the homepage it will turn out great! did this to mine last weekend and it took alittle longer than i thought but wasnt bad at all. p.s. found it alot easier to use steel wool in the tight corners than the 400 sand paper mentioned. good luck
