I am not sure about amperage, but stock heads run normally 55/65W (low/high). These run 35W, but you can get a 55W HID kit (brighter than the sun!)

Albeit taking out the heads and putting them back in, its about a 4.5/10 on the difficulty scale.

ok, what do you think about the 55w kits?? are they worth getting, or is the 35w kit enough?

im thinking about going with the 6000K bi xenon kit from HID4U

do you know what Kelvin the expensive imports use?? i love there blue lights!

If I had the money, I would go 55W. But 35W is a good deal.

6000K is perfect. If you buy off HID4U, be advised his kits are single-beam only. The only time I would suggest single-beam kits are for pure city driving. I HIGHLY suggest getting a bi-xenon kit if you do any country driving.

Mercedes/Caddys/BMWs are about the 4500K-5000K range. No one uses 6000K+ so thats another reason I chose a darker blue color, so when you see me, you know I'm aftermarket plus it turns heads. Everyone has seen a BMW's light, but not that many ppl see blue HID lights good choice.

just search around. someone said a while ago that HID4U sells a bi-xenon kit for like $120 or something along those lines. just look up "9007 bi-xenon" or "9007-3" and you'll get a good one
