Used it and hated it. To me it was a waste of time. If I remember correctly you have to purchase soap and a filter. Its been so long since I used it I dont remember but I rather stick to hand washing.

You could get a water softner if its eating up your house fixtures. Or just get a couple of inline filters from lowes/home depot and that should help a little bit.

Maybe I'm the exception to the rule, but I have used the Mr. Clean car wash for well over a year now and will keep on using it. They way I use it is to spray the soap over a section of the truck, wash it using a genuine lambs wool mitt and then rinse. I have my bucket of clean water that I use to rinse my mitt after washing each section so almost like using the 2 bucket method.

I then rinse the entire truck using the no-spot setting and let the truck dry. Not saying that it is perfect, but like I said I've used it for well over a year and think it was well worth my money. I also used it on my dad's truck (and he has extrememly hard water) and he was sold on it and uses it himself now.

x2...i really like the system...its not perfect by any means but it works good enough for me and i'd say get rid of at least 90% of the waters spots on my truck if not more, i can actually wash my truck almost faster or just as fast as a conventional method

inline filters might be nice but im just a kid and don't get to make any decisions at home ha...
