Tail Light Tint

Im about to order some Vinyl tint for my Tail lights from RVinyl

Question is what tint percentage Dark or Light

i want them rather dark, but still be able to see brake lights during the day.

Keep in mind i have a black truck

the light version is on top, and dark on bottom

i think im leaning towards the light

I would just go with the light. Your truck is black which will make the light seem darker than it is. Plus, like you said, you want to make sure you can see the lights during the day. You need to put about 4 coats of nite shades on that 3rd brake light though, its SOOO bright on your super black truck.

New wheels, yeah?....The truck is lookin perfect man...perfect!

I agree, go with the light tint. The dark will look pitch black on a black truck. nice truck!

Thats gonna look sick. Just curious but why not niteshades? I have 3 very light coats and I can still see a redish tint to them. Just use 2 to lighten them up

It will be cool to finally see real results with taillamp tint over the niteshade spray.

It might show good results. However paint will last alot longer than a sticker.

I just ordered the Smoked Protective Vinyls from R Vinyl to go on my DSG 08 F150. I will post pics up of them when I get them on. I should have on them by Sunday. They are the darkest you can get from R Vinyl.
