I think it would be bad ***. I think just about any true custom work is sweet though. Build it. don't buy it !

How good are you with body work ? Welding ? I have a feeling it will take a chit load of body work to make it line up as smooth as you'd want. But it can definately be done !

It looks pretty damn clean actually, real clean. I can imagine a Supercab style Supercrew, wow that will have alot of space, and be a bitch in the parking lots

What I thought would be cool and different would be to get suicide doors in the rear, and lambo in front. It would be pretty cool to have them both open differently. But I would definatly get the lambo door hinges that can open 2 ways. Normal, and lambo.

There lies the problem, in order for it to look clean and finished when he opens it, he really does need to remove the B pillar, and use the front seats from a scab that have the seat belt integrated into them as well as using a section of the rear door on the scab and the cab points where the small scab door closes and mounts.
To pull this off correctly and structurally safe, he would probably need a good scab cab to take the rear mouting points, the rear door closing points, the rear door (for hinge points and front latching points) and possibly the front door (although i think the scab front door closes normally)

The Screw is only a little under six inches longer so if he would be able to transplant all the scab stuff on i think it would work flawlessly, with a little re-enforcement on the doors. I dont believe the screw doors are designed the same for side impact as the B pillar is there for support, with that gone, the doors need to be compensated.

My point though, is anyone who is asking if it would look cool, probably doenst have the slightest idea what hes getting into (dont take that personally LARA), let alone the fabrication skills to pull it off without making the truck seriously unsafe.
Say he does, the cost alone is ridiculous for parts, as you would need pretty much a complete non damaged scab cab.
And a shop is going to charge an arm and a leg to do that.

If its just a wow factor he wants, IMO it isnt worth the cost.

Cool idea? Hell yes
Worth the money? probably not. Unless its a full sponsored show truck.

But props to the OP for the idea.

If you shave the rear handle, shave the front. I personally would keep both, but if you going to under-go so much metal work, why not shave them all and the tailgate handle too.
