There is also a company that posts on here as well, Retro-Solutions. Todd (retrosolutions) has been a huge help in assisting me with questions and various choices, PLUS he has a group buy price in his signature that cuts the price down quite a bit.

When I buy from anyone it will be from him, as you're dealing with a reputable company who has proven customer service with many members on this site, plus you can contact him through the forums or on his website by email or phone.

Here's the thread to where Retro-Solutions has been discussed the most...https://www.f150online.com/forums/ap...0-bixenon.html

One other option is an eBay seller, HID4U, whom many on here have had great success with, but I've heard that occasionally he's hard to contact and his customer service isn't quite as high as Retro's (they do sell quite a bit of volume so you have to think they're busy). eBay has many cheaper sets to buy, but you always get what you pay for...and there's always the "real" HID companies to buy from but they're $300 a set, so Retro puts them in the dark with their pricing (pun intended LOL).

If I were to go the eBay route I would ONLY use HID4U - no one else, but seeing as Retro-Solutions is only a little more expensive yet have a higher reputation and have already proven their great customer service before I've even spent a dime, I'll be sending Todd my money in the near future.

it is simple to put in. It took me about 30 mins total. The problem i had was with a little blue box that had the wires leading to it, i had to switch the of the wires because the way it was wired made it so that when my low beams were on, the brights would go on and vise versa, if that makes sense (it does in my crazy head). But over all it is very easy. The 55W are better and brighter although illegal in some states. I bought the 50W/55W kit from riversidemotorsports on ebay. they have great service, great prices and a lifetime warranty. I looked and didnt see any listings from them now but there should be some soon.

Good luck

#2 looks to be better constructed than the Halos I had, but I would still choose something along the lines of #1, the Depo projectors...

Might want to read the 18 page HID thread. Some very useful info in there. When I buy mine I dont want no radio interference like the cheaper brands give off

ask the eBay seller. They will tell you. and if they dont know, they shouldnt be selling them to begin with.

But im pretty sure the low is a 9007, and the high is a 9005.

The projector headlights you posted look a lot like the APC headlights that were all the craze a few years ago. The problem with them is that within a year the plastic on the lens fades and yellows and you're left with a hazy and yellow, cataract looking, headlights. Besides, if the projector wasn't designed for the extra light output of the HID bulb, you're back to square one.

Just my two cents though.
