goin home from the gym tongiht and a cop pulls me over....for my red license plate lights.......are you serious? lets think aobut this......license plate lights are only on at night and so are your running lights....WHICH ARE ALREADY RED......whatever....he wasn't an *** or anything he was cool and jsut told me to change them but it is jsut annoying and a hassle when i happen to really like them

To get a look into the vehicle, you need probable cause for a stop...hence your red lights.
