body components.

After looking at my truck every day... I feel the need to change its appearance a little bit MORE...

Black 07 - Lariat - PTM bumpers - Chrome grille - westin sport tubes.
(ext cab) 6.5' bed - Soft toneau cover 4X4

Since replacing the nice steel bumpers with plastic is out for me, and i already have sport tubes on the sides... I was looking mainly at the hood.

I like this cervinis reverse (inward scoop) look... but its wayy to expensive.

https://www.cervinis.com/product.aspx?car=1&id=1159 ...

Opinions? Pictures? Links to cheaper Hoods?

thats actually a decent price.

Id take a look at ramairhoods.com

im not sure what they have for the 04+ but its worth a shot.

If you are looking for a cheap hood then look on ebay. read the seller feadback and then make a decision. based on positive/negative feedback and warranty.

Thanks 4.2 - I guess you just arent going to get a good hood for much cheaper.

I think lazarus has this hood - and it looked real good on his truck.
reminds me of the FTX hood - if not the same one.

I think i will keep looking for an inverse scoop or the backwards cobra vent type hood though.

Doesn't www.F150store.com have a reverse add on hood scoop available? This way you can see if you like it first vs. spending tons on a hood and not liking it....

Thanks ncf... I think you just cost me 7-800 dollars in the near future.
